New years day

We celebrated the new year at my grandma's place.

My grandma was in hospital and she was able to come home for 2 days.

We usually have breakfast and lunch at the room where the family Buddhist altar is placed.
This year, we stayed at 1st floor for my grandma.

Otoso:
It is a special beverage of sweetened sake flavored with herbs. After exchanging New Year's greetings, family members drink otoso as a solemn rite.
