Simon enjoy making sound with his mouth recently.
It's funny that he sometimes find it more fun to make sound than crying and stop crying.

最近一人でブブブブ音を鳴らして楽しんでいます。
泣きかけても　「うぇ、うぇ～ん、ブブブ。ブブブブ～」と途中で遊びに変わることも（笑）

On Saturday, three of us were able to sleep longer than usual since Simon slept well until 10:00 and took 3 hours nap with me.
In the evening, Simon and I went to a park for his exercise because it was not so hot and went home with Yakitori(grilled chicken) for dinner.

土曜日は志門が10時ぐらいまで寝てくれて、しかも3時間昼寝もしてくれたので久々にビョァンも私もゆっくり寝れました。
夕方、あまり暑くなかったので志門を連れて公園に行き、帰りに焼き鳥を買って帰りました。あービールが飲みたい。

Peaceful night

The day of the sea

It was a national holiday today, which is called 'the day of the sea'
I guess it's too early to go to beach now. I'm looking forward to swiming with Simon.

Even now, Simon becomes quiet when he finds a camera.
But I tried to make him laugh with strange voice and faces.

今日は海の日。
まだ無理だけど、志門と一緒に泳げる日を楽しみにしています♪
やっぱりカメラを見ると大人しくなってしまうけど、変顔と変声でなんとか笑わそうと頑張ってみました(^^;)

Tokyo Sky Tree

Three of us went to Asakusa on Saturday to buy plates.
It was too hot especially for Simon to be outside and we came home without buying anything this time.
Bjørn took pictures of Tokyo Sky Tree which was built recently(height:634m).
We can see this tower from in front of our apartment.


土曜日は志門も連れて浅草に行ってきました。
合羽橋でお皿を買うつもりだったものの、あまりの暑さに何も買わず帰りました。

ちなみにこれはビョァンが撮ったスカイツリーの写真。
うちのマンションの前からも見えます。

Morning shouts

Granpa's short visit

My father visited us shortly after working in Tokyo and had dinner together on Tuesday.
He said 'I need to see Simon'. When I said 'I will take a half day off to see you', he answered 'No you don't need to. I've seen you many years. I just need to see Simon. You don't look different. Simon does.'
But anyway, I went home ealier to have 'some family time'


火曜日はお父さんが出張帰りに遊びにきて、一緒に晩御飯を食べました。

3時ぐらいに着くというので、「私も会社を早退するから一緒にご飯を食べよう」と言ったら、「お前はいらん。何年も顔を見てきたから。志門は変わるけど、お前は変わらん」とさ（笑）

でもせっかくなので、半休を取って、一緒にご飯を食べました(^^)

Rainy season is over in Tokyo and it's 33 degrees today.
Asako and Yukako visited us with lunch.

暑い中朝子おばちゃんと夕香ちゃんがランチ持参で遊びに来てくれて、まったりとしたひと時を過ごしました♪

A letter from Nepal

I got a letter from a Nepalese girl, Anjana.
I have been supporting her and her family economically since 2007 through NPO and she is now 7 years old.

I was impressed by the Jewish wisdom "Contribute 10% of your income to others" in 2007 and I thought it must be nice to support a small girl in poor foreign country and communicate with them sometimes. (It's less than 10%)

I sometimes feel like stopping it recently because we spend more money than before, but I hesitated to stop it.

ネパールの女の子から手紙が届きました★
4年ほど前に「ユダヤ人の年収の10%は他人のために使え」という教えにちょっと心を動かされ、「外国の恵まれない女の子の足長おばさんになるのもいいかも」と思って10%には満たないけども寄付を始めました。
最近時々、このお金を志門に使ったら・・・とか思たりするものの、いったん始めるとなんとなくやめづらいですなぁ(^^;)

昨日、我が家のポストにビョァンの両親からの小包が届いていることを発見しました。
頂いた怪獣模様のベビー服と歯固めを早速使ってみました♪
