Simon had raw fish for the first time on Sunday at a Sushi restaurant!

He had salmon and he liked it though he often called it 'meet'.

 

 

志門が初めて生魚（サーモンのお寿司）を食べました★

「もっとお肉食べる！」と言いながらガブリガブリ♪

Grand father in Kagoshima

 

My grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on 9th of June when Meiko and Asako were at his bedside. 

 

Three of us went to Kagoshima on 8th to see him before he died and participated in the funeral in 9th and 10th.

 

We are aware that he lived out his life but we will miss him anyway. 

 

８日（日）鹿児島に住む祖父が危篤との知らせを受け、飛行機で鹿児島へ。

６月９日（月）、母と叔母が見守る中満95歳で天寿を全うしました。

 

長生きしてくれて、孫である私たちだけでなく、ひ孫の志門とまで遊んでくれたので感謝していますが、ファンキーでお茶目なおじいちゃんと会えない思うと寂しい限りです。

Vacation in Denmark!

Mt Kongo 金剛山

 

 

 

On the last day of Golden Week, which was 6th of May, we went to Mt Kongō.

Mt Kongō is a 1,125-metre high mountain in South Osaka.

We took train, bus and ropeway to get there.

 

５月６日、ゴールデンウィークの最終日、電車、バス、ロープウェイを乗り継いで金剛山へ★

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Simon started to cry all of a sudden when he took off a pair of his shoe.

When we asked the reason, he answered that it was because he didn't want to come home as he liked Mt. Kongo very much!

 

 

それまでは結構ご機嫌だったのに、玄関でサンダルの片方を脱いだ瞬間、大泣きし始めた志門。

理由を聞いたら、山がすごく楽しかったようで「家に帰りたくない！」とのこと（笑）

 

面倒くさがらずにまた連れていきます・・・
