I remember Betty and Ib's cat seeing these pictures.






On Saturday, we went to IKEA to buy a kids bed for Simon and a cupboard.
Simon doesn't sleep in the baby bed and sleeps in our bed and we want to expand our bed to have more space.

Unfortunately, the bed we wanted was out of stock.

Bjørn wanted to buy many soft toys of mouse 'for Simon'.
Bjørn kept trying to entertain him with them but Simon kept ignoring it.

In the end, Bjørn put 4 mice in the bascket and said 'they can be great decorations anyway!'
Now, Simon can enjoy eating them like a cat.

When we went back, we missed a train by mistake and decided to go to a shopping center near IKEA to have dinner.
It was a good decision because we were able to find a cupboard and a carry restaurant there which Bjørn can be satisfied with.
It took almost 8 months to buy a cupboard.

Aftensmad

After eating all, Simon wants to turn pocket and bite it.
Then, everything in the pocket comes out.

全部食べた後、プラスティックのポケットを噛んだりひっくり返したりして遊ぶ志門。
もちろんポケットの中身は全部外へ・・・

Children's world map

I bought a big world map with many pictures and stories in English.
If we buy a world map in Japan, Japan is the middle, Europe is left and USA is right.
I wanted to teach Simon that map looked different depending on the angles.


イラストやその場所にまつわる出来事などがいっぱい書かれている世界地図を買いました。
英語なのでまだちゃんと読んでいませんが（^^;)

日本で見る世界地図は日本が真ん中だけど、ヨーロッパで買う世界地図はヨーロッパが真ん中。
立場によって地図は変わることを志門に教えたくて、あえて英語版を買いました。





靴下を脱いで、噛んで大喜び。

Shinjyuku Park

We went to a park in Shinjyuku and had lunch together with my aunts and uncles on Saturday since it was a fine day.
I forgot to bring my camera but Osamu kindly sent photos by email.
Bjørn stayed at home to take a nap.

土曜日は叔父さん、叔母さん達と一緒に新宿御苑でお昼を食べ、お散歩を楽しみました。
カメラを忘れたので、後で叔父さんに写真を送ってもらいました(^^;)







We had cake & tea at Royal Copenhagen Tearoom. We had to be careful that Simon won't touch and break Royal Copenhagen plates and coffe cups!

最後は伊勢丹のロイヤルコペンハーゲンティーラウンジでお茶。

Labor Thanksgiving Day

It was a national holiday today which is called Labor Thanksgiving Day.
I enjoyed housewife tasks such as cleaning, cooking, washing and baby sitting like usual weekend and Bjørn enjoyed making bread, using the recipe book from Denmark.

今日は勤労感謝の日。
ということで日ごろの自分の勤労に感謝して怠けたい気分は山々ですが、洗濯物も山々。。。
結局、洗濯、掃除、料理、育児といつもの週末のような主婦的な1日でしたが、家が片付いて気分はスッキリ♪
ちなみにビョァンはパン作りに勤しんでおります。

Pasta

Usually, we are very busy with feeding him while dinner because we cannot keep up with his eating speed. When we are late or if we don't allow him to eat by himself, he gets angry and says 'uuuuu!' with very low voice even I expect him to say 'mere mere' with cute voice.
We found pasta is easy to make Simon happy and let him eat by himself.

食べさせるスピードが遅かったり、自分で食べたいのに触らせないと「うぅぅぅ」と低い声で唸る志門。
そんなこんなでいつも落ち着いて食べれないけども、パスタだったら一人でご機嫌に食べてくれるので楽チンです★
