2nd year's wedding anniversary

It was one of our wedding anniversary on 23rd. (registered day)
So I asked Bjørn to make special food with special beef.

I don't know why but Simon always wakes up and asks for milk just when I start to eat every time.
So we eat at the same time, using pillows and cushions on my lap.

23日は結婚記念日（入籍日）だったので、いつもより豪華な料理をビョァンにオーダーしました。
いつもと同じく、志門君が私がご飯を食べ始めようとした瞬間に起きて泣き始めたので、枕やクッションを重ねてこんな↓感じで食事しています★

Sleepy

He is still almost always sleeping other than drinking milk.
And he doesn't want to sleep on a bed like many other babies.

おっぱいを飲むとき以外は、まだほとんど眠っています。
で、ベッドに置くと泣くので、定位置は私のひざの上。

Simon and Bjørn

Simon looks smaller than he is when Bjørn is holding him!

Name paper

We have a tradition to write child's name on Japanese paper with a writing brush and put it on a household Shinto shelf or alcove which is called Tokonoma (special space for decoration in Japanese room).

I asked my grandfather in Kagoshima (Meiko's father) because he used to be a teacher of Japanese writing.
He was willing to take that role and send back the paper with Simon's name soon.

He said 'Sorry I couldn't write it well because I'm too old'.
But of cause we are very happy that my grampa at 92 years old could make it for us.

Mysterious thing was that he practiced writing name on the envelop which we sent to him for return with our address and stamps. Besides, he turn it around afterwards and write our address and put stamps again (recycling paper).


志門の命名書を鹿児島のおじいちゃんに頼んだところ、喜んで引き受けてくれ、すぐに速達で返送してくれました。
おじいちゃんは「年のせいでうまくかけなかった、ごめんね」と言っていましたが、92歳のじいちゃんが書いてくれたことに感謝しつつ、床の間に飾っています。

しかしひとつ不可解なことは、送った返信用封筒（切手付き）を習字の練習に使ってしまい、それを裏返して（セロテープでべたべたに留めて）封筒を作り、新たに切手を貼って送付してきたこと。。。謎です（笑）

志(shi) means wish, ambition, kindness
門(mon) means gate (gate imply turning points such as entrance to school etc.)

We hope he will go through many gates in his life, with great wish, ambition and kindness.

Børne Lund

Some of my colleagues gave a present from Børne Lund for Simon.
When it arrived, 3 grown-up (Bjørn, Yukiko, Meiko) started to play with this toy :)

会社の同僚からBørne Lund（デンマーク語でBørne＝子どもとLund＝森の広場）のおもちゃを頂きました♪
大人三人（お母さん、ビョァン、有希子）でプレゼントを開封し、思わず夢中になって遊んでしまいました（笑）

New camera and new photos

We got a new camera from Meiko as a congratulatory gift.
As you may know, Bjørn was wishing new camera for a long time though I did not think it was necessary.
After getting the new one, I got surprised at the difference in quality of photos.

So now, we are going to take more photos!
