Ryogoku, Sumo arena

We had a great time with Camilla and Allan this week.
We went many places and ate a lot :)
Allan and Camilla went back to Denmark on Friday. Time flies...

I was almost always sleeping this weekend as Betty guessed before.

Some of Kokubunji citizens were playing a drum on a street just in front of our apartment for festival.

Baby part 3

Today, I got new scanning picture of our baby.
Of course, baby became bigger and we were able to see baby's heart clearly.
As you may be able to see with this picture, both arms are beside head just like a parson who is worrying about anything :)

autumn festival

In many towns, autumn festival is held in September.
People carry a portable shrine and run around in a town to play good health and prosperity.

Grilled meat at Kokubunji

Bjørn and I went to grilled meat restaurant on Friday as grilled meat is one of Bjørn's favorite food.
The restaurant looked like old-fashioned chinese style tea shop.

I found only place we go nowdays is a restaurant, so photos for blog are almost all about food.. :p

Fish and rice

New boss, HR director took me and my colleagues to dinner last Thursday at expensive Kyoto style restaurant.
The kettle is for rice. (traditional way to cook rice) And the fish is seasonal freshwater fish.

Vi har fået sød sokker fra Camilla og Allan, som både Liva og Elias har brugt.

Fredag 27. August

I enjoyed shopping in the afternoon.
I bought a lot of cheese because it was the only request from Bjørn.

Torsdag 26. August

I participated BBQ lunch party in HQ. They have this party only once a year.
It means I was very lucky.
I tried all kinds of sausages!




Besides, I was able to attend farewell party for our Head of HR.
The party was held in 5 star hotel besides Rhine river, which Thomas Straumann(grandson of the founder)has.

Tirsdag den 24 August

I moved to Victoria hotel (4 star hotel) which company reserved for me.
Youth hostel was not so bad to me, but I enjoyed the gap between them.



I visited HQ in Basel to participate training. The training was about new system whic HR need to use. It was hard for me to get used to IT terms in English though System itself was not so difficult
I was very glad to meet my colleagues whom I had been communicating only by E-mail.

Mandag den 23. August

I went to Colmar in France. It was beautiful old city and I found many cute signs there. Besides, it is a model town for one of famous Japanese animation movie.
I had traditional Colmar food in a restaurant which is called pfeffel.

月曜日は、ハウルの動く城のモデルになった、コルマールというフランスの町に行ってきました。
古い町並みが残ったきれいな町で、かわいい看板がいっぱいありました。
お昼ごはんは、散々迷った挙句このpfeffelというレストランでボリューム満点のコルマールの郷土料理を食べました★

Søndag, den 22. August

I stayed at Basel YMCA youth hostel.
Life in youth hostel reminded me my school days when I traveled a lot.

As all shops are closed on Sunday, I walked around in the town and country side.
